Franck Ribery has pulled out of the France squad for their World Cup qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Austria.

The 26-year-old, who has injured his left knee, has not been replaced in Raymond Domenech's 24-man squad.

France face the Faroe Islands on October 10 at Guingamp before meeting Austria at Saint-Denis four days later.

Les Bleus are second in Group 7, four points behind Serbia and four ahead of Austria.
