Report: Hiddink set for Ivory Coast job

Guus Hiddink has agreed to take charge of Ivory Coast for the duration of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, according to a report from Dutch national broadcaster NOS.

Hiddink, who had agreed to quit Russia for Turkey, has reportedly signed a two-month contract to lead the African side in this year's World Cup.

Other than the Dutchman, the Ivory Coast had also shortlisted Philippe Troussier and Sven Goran Eriksson.

The former Chelsea coach will have to prove to that he has already parted ways with Russia in order to make the move official.

The Dutch coach is one of the most sought-after coaches in world football after successful international stints with Holland, South Korea, Russia and Australia.
