Pele: Maradona in love with me

Pele: Maradona in love with me

The feud between Diego Maradona and Pele has gotten worse with the Brazilian once again chiding the Argentine manager.

Speaking at a video launch, Pele sensationally revealed that Maradona took the Argentina coaching job only because he needed the money.

He told Ole, "Diego only took the Argentina job because he needed the money,

"I saw them struggle in qualifying, but it isn't Maradona's fault. It is the fault of whoever put him in charge."

Pele's choice words were a rebuke of Maradona's latest comments whereby he claimed the Brazilian legend has not shown enough support and confidence for the host nation, South Africa.

When asked about Maradona's comments regarding the matter, Pele exclaimed: "I don't know why he speaks about me so much, he must be in love with me."

Pele's country, Brazil will be kicking off their 2010 FIFA World Cup™ campaign with a game against North Korea later today.
