South African Branden Grace has been named the European Tour's Golfer of the Month for January following back-to-back victories in his home country.

The 23-year-old achieved his notable double only a month after surviving the Tour qualifying school in Spain.

Grace was given the award ahead of England's Robert Rock, who beat Tiger Woods and the world's top four in Abu Dhabi.
