Lisa Holm Sorensen recorded a blistering, bogey-free, 11-under-par round of 62 to lead by four after the opening day of the SAS Ladies Masters.

Sorensen's round at Larvik Golf Club in Norway equalled the lowest ever score on the Ladies European Tour, a record previously held by England's Kirsty Taylor and Swede Nina Reis.

"I'm really pleased because I've been working really hard and today it just clicked," said Sorensen.

Italy's Veronica Zorzi, Frenchwoman Sophie Giquel and England's Samantha Head were tied for second place on seven under.

Promising English 21-year-old Melissa Reid is a further shot back from Head, in another group of three at six under that also features AIB Irish Open champion Diana Luna.
