Gaganjeet Bhullar will be the star attraction when the second leg of the Indian golfing season gets underway.

The PGTI Players Championship at the Eagleton The Golf Resort in Bangalore will kick off on August 12.

This leg will see back-to-back tournaments right till the end of the year, with a few breaks in between. With more than Rs. 5 crore at stake as prize money, the second leg of the Aircel PGTI 2009 season promises to produce some breathtaking golf.

"This year has witnessed strategic consolidations and defining growth for PGTI. Key global partnerships and agreements have been signed. These will add further momentum in the growth of professional golf in India, and will help our young players make their presence felt at the international level," PGTI Director Padamjit Sandhu said.
