Yuta Ikeda and Koumei Oda share the lead at the Bridgestone Open on 10-under at the Sodegaura Country Club.

Ikeda shot a five-under 67 while Oda went one better with his 66 to climb the leaderboard and head both Shingo Katayama and Toru Suzuki by a stroke.

Ikeda, 24, carded seven birdies against two bogeys while the 31-year-old Oda produced a flawless back nine in his six-under-par effort and finished with an eagle, five birdies and one dropped shot at the fourth.

It was not such a good day for overnight leader Tatsunori Nukaga, though, as the 25-year-old signed for a two-over 74 to drop off the pace at four under par.
