Toru Suzuki climbed into a five-stroke lead heading into the final day of the Mynavi ABC Championship after carding a six-under-par 66 in the third round.

The 43-year-old produced a flawless round in which he picked up four birdies and a fine eagle three on the par five 18th for a 13 under 203 total that puts him on course for his first win on the Japan Tour this year.

Hiroyuki Fujita is in second place with a three-day total of eight under 208 after carding a one-under-par 71 today while defending champion Ryo Ishikawa is six shots off the pace tied third with Kim Hyung-sung (70) after shooting a 72.

Overnight leader Hidemasa Hoshina dropped down the leaderboard to fifth after carding a three over 75 at the ABC Golf Club.
