
Imano two clear at Taiheiyo Masters
Yasuharu Imano carded a seven-under-par 65 today to open up a two-stroke lead midway through the Taiheiyo Masters.
The 36-year-old picked up six birdies and an eagle on the par-five sixth, his only blemish coming on the short 17th, to move onto 10 under for the tournament.
Kaname Yokoo (67), Yusaku Miyazato (67) and Taigen Tsumagari (68) are tied second on eight under overall while Japanese teenager Ryo Ishikawa dropped down the leaderboard following a second-round 71 and is five shots behind Imano.
Japan Tour money leader Yuta Ikeda is four under for the tournament after carding a level-par 72 at the Taiheiyo Club Gotemba Course.
