Ishikawa joins the leaders

Ryo Ishikawa shot a four-under-par 68 to move into a three-way tie at the top of the Casio World Open leaderboard.

Ishikawa carded five birdies and a solitary bogey in his third round to draw level with Shigeki Maruyama and Kouemi Oda on 14 under par.

Maruyama and Oda both posted 70s with the former sinking five birdies but also recording three bogeys while the latter did not drop a stroke in his two-under-par effort.

The trio lead Katsumasa Miyamoto - who shot a 69 - by a stroke with Tomohiro Kondo and Tetsuji Hiratsuka two back on 12 under, Kondo firing an impressive 67 to move into contention.

The best round of the day, however, belonged to Kiradech Aphibarnrat with the 20-year-old Thai claiming seven birdies in his 65 to climb to 11 under.
