
Australia beat South Korea in CT
Defending champions Australia, Netherlands and Germany won their matches on the first day of the Champions Trophy.
Australia beat South Korea 4-0, Germany edged out England 3-2 and Netherlands beat Spain 3-2 on the first day.
The top six ranked teams are participating in this tournament.
Des Abbott and Robbie Hammond scored for Australia in the first half followed by a goal scored by a combination of Jamie Dwyer and Abott and then another one by Eddie Ockenden.

The Netherlands, without the services of Ronald Brouwer and Geert-Jan Derikx, still managed to win the match against Spain. Taeke Taekema scored twice and de Nooijer scored once.
Taekema broke the record of 40 Champions Trophy goals held by Pakistan's Sohail Abbas with the two goals he scored.
The Dutch have won the Trophy eight times.
Captain Pol Amat and Xavier Ribas scored a goal each for Spain.

World Champions Germany got off to a great start against England with Christoph Menke, Jan-Marco Montag and captain Maximilian Muller scoring for the team.
The first half saw both teams tied 1-1.
