Indian eves go down to Japan

Japan beat India 4-1 in the second Womens Test at the Gifu Green Stadium, Kakamigahara on Sunday.

They now lead the four match series 2-0 after registering a 3-0 triumph last Friday.

They increased the scoreline to 2-0 with another penalty corner strike, this time by Kama Nagayama in the 44th minute.

India however reduced the margin when Rani found the target four minutes later from open play.

However Japan came back strongly to fire two more field goals by Mie Nakashima and Kama Nagayama in the 57th and 62nd minutes respectively.

Japan earned eight penalty corners as against two for the Indians.

The third Test shall be played at the same venue on Monday.
