Eugene YS Han looks at the footie statistics that mattered from the fifth weekend of the Barclays Premier League.

1 – The number of own goals scored in the Premier League this weekend (after three last week).

2 – The number of goals Manchester City’s Robinho has scored in two consecutive league games. The same goes for West Ham’s Daniele Di Michele. This is also the number of points Tottenham have made since the start of this season (Five matches) – equaling their worst-ever start to the Premier League in 1992.

6 – The number of goals Man City have scored without reply against Pompey to record their biggest win in the Premier League. This is the same number of matches City are unbeaten against Portsmouth (four wins and two draws). Also, the number of times Fulham’s Jimmy Bullard was fouled by Blackburn.

7 – The number of Manchester United players referee Mike Riley booked at the Battle of the Bridge.

10 - The total number of drawn matches since the start of the season.

11 – Michael Owen has scored this many goals in 13 Premier League matches (for Liverpool and Newcastle) against West Ham, including a hat-trick in his visit to Upton Park on 17 December 2005. Also, the number of consecutive league and Cup games Middleborough have not won away from home. Also.

23 – The number of years Aston Villa have stayed unbeaten at the Hawthorns.

30 – The total number of goal attempts made by Liverpool in their 0-0 draw against Stoke. Only six were on target. Also, the number of league games Martin O’Neill has won as manager of Aston Villa.

36 – The total number of yellow cards earned this weekend in the BPL.

50 – The number of draws Liverpool have had under Rafa Benitez in all matches. Also, the total number of appearances made by Arsenal’s Denilson.

85 – The record number of home games Chelsea have gone unbeaten in the Premier League (61 wins, 24 draws, 173 goals for, 44 goals against and 207 points out of a possible 255).

100 – The total number of domestic appearances made by Stoke’s Abdoulaye Faye and Sunderland’s Daryl Murphy.

250 – The number of Premier League appearances made by Luis Boa Morte

300 – The total number of days Steve Bruce is in charge of Wigan.

350 - The number of club appearances made by Bolton’s Jussi Jaaskelainen. Also the number of league starts made by Ricardo Gardner for the Trotters.

602 - The total number of goals the Hammers have scored in Premier League history.

327, 816 – The total attendance over the weekend

- Stoke’s surprise draw at Anfield earned the newly promoted side their first clean sheet of the season. And the Potters still scored more goals than Liverpool so far this season.

- Tottenham have scored four goals and conceded seven in their four Premier League outings to date; Wigan have scored seven and conceded four in their four matches.

- Sunderland’s victory over Boro made it their best start to a Premier League season since 2001.

- Blackburn have beaten a London club for the first time in ten attempts in the league.
