
Birmingham City 2009/10 BPL schedule
Newly promoted Birmingham City face a daunting trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in their Premier League opener on 15th August.
Alex McLeish's side, who secured automatic promotion from the Championship last season, could not have found a tougher start to their campaign taking on the Champions at the Theatre of Dreams.
Blues will not have to wait long to resume their bitter rivalry with neighbours Aston Villa, with the pair due to lock horns at St. Andrews on 12th September.
