Gent striker Bryan Ruiz has confirmed he would jump at the chance to be reunited with Trond Sollied at Heerenveen.

Sollied left the Belgian club for Heerenveen last year and Ruiz, 23, would like to work with him once more.

The Costa Rican told De Telegraaf: "I worked under Sollied at Gent and I find him an excellent coach.

"He plays with a system in which I feel very good: as a left-hand striker in a 4-3-3 system. I really want to join Heerenveen, but there are more clubs interested in me."

FC Twente, PSV Eindhoven and Hoffenheim are also reportedly tracking Ruiz, who is expected to cost around 5 million euros.
