Getafe coach Michel has claimed Real Madrid's Kaka is the best signing of the summer in an interview with Marca.

The Brazil international signed for Real around the same time as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, but Getafe coach Michel has no problem naming the ex-Milan star as the best deal of the summer.

"I am delighted that Real Madrid have signed Kaka," Michel said to Marca. "It is a great news that he has come to play in Spain at last."

"He is a player that was in Italy for too long, he was playing without enjoying it or at least I had that impression.

"For me, he is a player at the same level as [Zinedine] Zidane."

When asked to compare Kaka's signing with that of Ronaldo, Michel said: "Everyone respects and values Kaka a lot, and not only for what he does on the field, which he does very well, but also because he seems to be a normal footballer off the field."

"It does not look like he transcends too much and, without a team, he is a wonderful player. For that I say he reminds me of Zidane, who had his family, his wife and kids when the match was over. And Kaka appears to be the same.

"He does not have to be surrounded by bodyguards for us to know he is a star," Michel concluded, in an apparent dig at Cristiano Ronaldo.
