Change of venue for King's Cup
The King’s Cup will now be played at the brand new Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club in Thailand from December 03 to 06.
The full-field US$300,000 Asian Tour tournament was originally slated to be held at the Santiburi Country Club Chiang Rai.
The Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club is the newest course to be sculpted in the province of Khon Khaen which is located North East of Thailand and is accessible via an hour's flight from Bangkok.
The King's Cup, previously held as a domestic event, will be Thailand's fifth tournament on the Asian Tour this season, making it the country with the most number of events in the region.
The par-72 course, which is set against a lush backdrop, measures to 7,502 yards from the championship tees and will provide a stern challenge for Asian Tour stars.
The event, which will commemorate the King of Thailand's birthday, is sponsored by Sports Authority of Thailand and Singha Corporation and sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Thailand PGA.
