Leonardo racks up four straight wins

Inter Milan coach Leonardo was pleased with their 3-2 win over Cesena despite them throwing away a two goal lead.

Samuel Eto'o set the Nerazzurri on their way in the 14th minute and Diego Milito added a second just a minute later. However, goals from Erjon Bogdani and Emanuele Giaccherini pulled Cesena level before the half-hour mark.

Inter, however, duly grabbed all three points thanks to a Cristian Chivu goal on the stroke of halftime.

"It was a really difficult game, almost a paradox, with the team playing really well, it then took a 2-0 lead but then there was the change and as the team tried to adjust the opposition got their goals and what happened, happened," Leonardo was quoted on the club's official website as saying.

"Then in the second half we conceded less. Overall we suffered in this game, but there was an enormous effort from everyone.

"And now we must keep focusing on each game as it comes, especially as the next will be another very tough match, against Udinese on Sunday."

The result marks Inter's fourth consecutive league win under new coach Leonardo and moves them up to fourth place in Serie A, six points behind leaders AC Milan with a game in hand.
