Technical boss Martin Whitmarsh expects Lewis Hamilton to be fighting fit for the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday week.

McLaren ace Hamilton was "slightly sore and tender" when he raced in Valencia because his neck was in spasm.

Whitmarsh said: "His physical problems are unlikely to disturb his fitness programme and we expect him to make a full recovery for both the Monza test and next week's Belgian Grand Prix."
