Red Bull driver Mark Webber has claimed pole position for Sunday's German Grand Prix - a career first for the Australian driver.
The BrawnGP due of Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button were second and third respectively, whilst Webber's Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel was fourth.
The McLaren duo of Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen will both be pleased with their teams improvement qualifying fifth and sixth on the grid.
