Spanish driver Fernando Alonso admits it is tricky to find the right car set-up to drive quickly at the Hockenheim track.

The Renault driver is preparing for this weekend's German Grand Prix at the Baden-Wurttemberg venue.

Alonso said: "Good straight-line speed is necessary but not as much as it was when the circuit was different. In the slow corners, grip is always poor. The right compromise is difficult to find."
