Vietoris began his professional career in 2005 in the Formula BMW ADAC Series with Eifelland Racing. After a 16th place finish in his rookie year, Vietoris went to Joseph Kaufmann Racing where he won the Drivers' Championship in just his second season.
After spending one year in German Formula Three with Joseph Kaufmann, he joined Mücke Motorsport for two years in Formula Three Euroseries. He is now entering his first year in GP2, racing for the defending champion, DAMS in 2009/10.
