Gonzalez to replace Rigon
Former GP2 Asia driver Rodolfo Gonzalez will replace Davide Rigon for Trident Racing in the GP2 Main Series.
The Venezuelan driver will be making his debut in the main series.
Gonzalez has previously entered the GP2 Asia Series, and is currently racing in the Euroseries 3000.
At Nurburgring, the The 23-year-old will team-up with Angolan Ricardo Teixeira, part of Trident Racing since the last rounds of the last Asia Series.
The team is currently waiting for some responses regarding the economic support that would allow Rigon to keep running from the upcoming round.
Trident Racing is confident that Rigon will be back in the car soon.
