Chevrolet up and running

Chevrolet kick-started their World Touring Car Championship season in style by taking a double win at Sunday's third round in Valencia.

Britain's Rob Huff won the first race for Chevrolet after a fine drive while team-mate Alain Menu claimed the honours in race two as the Lacettis dominated.

Huff made it a Chevy one-two after edging out reigning champion Andy Priaulx, who added a third place to his seventh in race one.

It was a day to forget for the SEAT team, who, having claimed four wins from as many races at the start of the season, struggled to make an impact in Valencia due to their drivers running with more 'success' ballast than their rivals.

The Spanish marque's cars were also hindered by an FIA-imposed restriction on the engine power of the until-now dominant Leon TDIs, paving the way for a Chevrolet benefit on SEAT's home turf.
