The 2009 British Superbike Championship will reach its conclusion at Oulton Park in a break with it longstanding tradition.

The BSB season usually ends at Brands Hatch, but the popular Cheshire circuit will be granted the honour next year over the weekend of October 9 to 11.

The Brands Hatch Indy circuit will host the opening round of the season over the Easter weekend (April 10-13) and will last for four days, with additional testing and extra support races added to the programme.

The championship will return to the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on the weekend of August 7-9.
