Olympic champions Kenenisa Bekele, Usain Bolt and Yelena Isinbayeva head the entry list for the Weltklasse Zurich meeting.

The three world record holders, all emphatic gold medallists at last summer's Games, head what will be star-studded fields for the Swiss event on August 28.

Bolt is scheduled to compete over 100metres, Bekele in the 5000m and Isinbayeva the pole vault at the Letzigrund stadium.

"Between 2004 and 2008 we always had the strongest fields in the world, and it goes without saying that we are aiming at defending that position this year," said meeting director Patrick Magyar.

For the last two years athletes have had to fly in from the World Championships in Osaka and the Olympic Games in Beijing but this year the field has been boosted by the fact that it takes place just after the World Championships in Berlin.
