Bradley Wiggins will make his Team Sky debut at the Tour of Qatar next month.

The 29-year-old had been due to make his first start for his new team in France on February 3, but will now join "a strong line-up" in Qatar four days later, Team Sky said.

Wiggins had a memorable 2009, the highlight of which was finishing fourth in the Tour de France.

Fellow British riders Russell Downing, Geraint Thomas and Ian Stannard will also be in action for Team Sky at the Tour of Qatar.
