Nicola Legrottaglie's pact with God
Nicola Legrottaglie has revealed the path to which he achieved his success at the top flight of the Serie A.
Apparently when the Juventus defender was child he had prayed every night to be a footballer, in exchange, he vowed to become a missionary; he revealed to students at the Pontificia Universita Lateranense, as reported by Sportal.
"As a child, I would pray to God and tell him that 'If you make me become a Serie A footballer, I will one day become a missionary'.
"I can guarantee you that speaking in front of you about Jesus is more emotional and important than the Juventus-Inter match this weekend," he commented.
The Derby d'Italia takes place this weekend.
