Ribery to link up with Henry?

Franck Ribery has claimed that France teammate Thierry Henry would like to see him make a move to the Nou Camp.

Speaking to RTL Radio, the Bayern Munich winger revealed his affinity to the French captain.

"I get on very well with Titi (Henry). I know that he would like to see me there," he said

"I know people want me to stay. But whether I stay or go, it will not be an easy decision," added the Frenchman.

Ribery has been offered a new contract by Bayern but with interest from Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, he is yet to make up his mind. This is not surprising because despite his undoubted pedigree, the 2008 German Footballer of the Year has yet to win a major football trophy.

The fact is now beginning to rankle the 26-year-old.

"I want to win trophies and enjoy myself. I do not have twenty years, I'm closer to the end [of my career]," he said.

While Ribery acknowledged that Bayern are a big club, they still compare unfavourably with other big names in Europe, according to him.

"Bayern is still a big club. It is one of the largest in the world, but I feel our team is not as strong as other teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United or Chelsea," he said.
