Sharks bite back against Leafs

Ryane Clowe converted the decisive goal as the San Jose Sharks beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2.

Dan Boyle and Joe Pavelski were also on target for the Western Conference leading Sharks, while Toronto netted through Tyler Bozak and Phil Kessel.

Elsewhere, Philadelphia Flyers came from two goals down earning a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Zach Parise and Anssi Salmela put the Devils 2-0 ahead, but James van Riemsdyk and Jeff Carter levelled the contest and Mike Richards struck the winner in the final period.

The Colorado Avalanche defeated the St Louis Blues 5-2, with Brandon Yip netting twice and Chris Stewart, Paul Stastny and TJ Galiardi also on target.

Eric Brewer and Erik Johnson replied with goals for St Louis.

Matthew Lombardi netted twice as Phoenix Coyotes beat Edmonton Oilers 6-1.

Ed Jovanovski, James Vandermeer, Radim Vrbata and Robert Lang were also on the scoresheet for Phoenix.

The Anaheim Ducks beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-2, with Teemu Selanne, Ryan Getzlaf, Saku Koivu and Corey Perry netting.
