Anti-racism squad for Cuttack games

The Orissa police has set up a anti-racism squad to mainain law and order at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

The ground will host the Deccan Chargers and police squads in plain clothes will be deployed all across the stadium, a senior police official revealed.

The added security has been enforced following Indian students' attacks in Australia and fears of retaliation on the Aussie players in the Chargers line-up, captained by former Baggy Green Adam Gilchrist.

A local outfit Kalinga Sena, opposed to participation of Australian players in Cuttack and a decision was taken to beef up security immediately.

The Chargers will start practicing from March 15 at the Barabati Stadium.

Orissa Cricket Association secretary Asribad Behera told reporters that KingsXI Punjab would start training on on March 18 and Delhi Daredevils will have their practice session on March 20, .

Behera said, "The tickets will be available at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack and Kalinga Satidum in Bhubaneswar from March 13."
