N'Zogbia doubt for Burnley clash
Wigan star Charles N'Zogbia is doubtful to face Burnley in their relegation six-pointer this weekend.
The talented Frenchman limped off in the second half of Tuesday night's 2-1 Premier League defeat by Aston Villa.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez has refused to confirm the nature of the injury, although he expects the next 24 hours to be crucial in his availability to face Burnley.
"The injury to Charles was a big negative for us, and we will assess him in the next 24 hours to see if he is OK for Saturday," Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post.
"Charles very rarely has to come off in a game and, as a result, it is a very big concern for us.
"The players showed the right reaction to the Bolton game, and we didn't deserve to finish with nothing."
Martinez was pleased with his side's display against Villa having been on the end of a 4-0 thrashing by Bolton at the weekend.
"I thought the two teams largely cancelled each other out, and the nature of the goals we conceded is the reason we lost the game," he continued.
"The players gave me everything they had, it was a very even game, and we have been left with a very sour taste.
"I really feel for the players because they don't deserve to be feeling the way they are feeling now.
"We were just missing that little bit of luck or that final pass that would have enabled us to get something."
