The ITF have rejected Australia's latest request to move their Davis Cup tie against India out of the country.

Australia are scheduled to play India in a third round Asia-Oceania Group I match from May 8-10 in Chennai, but Tennis Australia had wanted the tie moved due to safety concerns.

The International Tennis Federation sent a three-member security team to conduct a review of the arrangements last week.

The ITF said their security consultants had presented a positive report and Chennai was confirmed as the venue by the Davis Cup committee.
