Martinez in shock win
Unseeded Spaniard Maria Jose Martinez stunned top seed Caroline Wozniacki to win the Collector Swedish Open in Bastad.
Martinez, ranked 45 places below Wozniacki at 54th in the world, recorded a 7-5 6-4 win in one hour 36 minutes.
The Dane, who celebrated her 19th birthday today, led 4-1 in the second set only for her unheralded opponent to reel off the next five games.
Martinez got just 44% of her first serves in, but proved far more impressive on her opponent's serve as she converted five of her 11 break points to claim victory.
