Indian challenge ends in ITF event
Isha Lakhani and Sanaa Bhambri were sent packing out of the USD 10,000 ITF women's event on Friday.
Top seeded Emily Webley-Smith proved too strong for third seeded Isha and the British player hardly broke a sweat as she trounced her Indian opponent 6-3 6-4.
The script was more or less the same in the other semifinals where fifth seeded Sanaa could not stretch her seventh seeded Uzbek opponent Alexandra Kolesnicheko, who ambled to a 6-3, 6-2 win to set up a title clash with Emily.
