GB await Davis Cup opponents
Great Britain will discover their next Davis Cup opponents on Wednesday.
The draw for the 2010 competition takes place in Geneva with GB now in the third tier after the weekend's loss to Poland saw them relegated to Euro-Africa Zone II.
At least John Lloyd's team have been seeded for Wednesday's draw, meaning they will face one of the unseeded nations in round one.
The eight possible options for them are Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway and Turkey.
While Britain have the world number three in Andy Murray, the highest-ranked player in any of the other teams in the group is Turkey's Marsel Ilhan, who currently resides at number 182.
Britain will have to win three ties in 2010 to gain promotion back to Zone I - one in March, one in July and one in September.
In the World Group, this year's finalists - Spain and the Czech Republic - are seeded one and two for the 2010 draw.
Also seeded are USA, Russia, Argentina, Croatia, Israel and Germany.
The seeded teams will be drawn against the non-seeds in the first round.
A strong French team will be a dangerous floater in the non-seeded pot, as will Roger Federer's Switzerland.
The non-seeds pot is completed by Belgium, Chile, Ecuador, India, Serbia and Sweden.
