Trio rises on singles ranking chart

Somdev Devvarman has jumped four places to 129, two positions behind his career best ranking, in the list released on Monday.

Somdev's Davis Cup teammate Rohan Bopanna zoomed up to 358, a gain of 89 rungs.

Bopanna had done extremely well at the last week's ATP Malaysia Open where he beat world number 51 Jose Acasuso and also gave a scare to world number 12 Fernando Gonzalez.

Teen sensation Yuki Bhambri also improved his ranking to 403, after gaining seven positions following his fifth ITF title win at Kolkata Futures.

There was no change in the rankings of Mahesh Bhupathi (6) and Leander Paes (8) in the doubles list.

In the WTA list, Sania Mirza rose by four rungs to 61 in singles but her doubles ranking was intact at 38.
