Wozniacki too strong for Green

Caroline Wozniacki cruised into the third round of the Japan Women's Open with a 6-0 6-1 demolition of Britain's Katie Green.

The top-seeded Dane consistently broke her overmatched opponent in a match that was wrapped up in less than 45 minutes.

Third-seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia also enjoyed a comfortable win, beating home favourite Akiko Morigami 6-1 6-2.

Qualifier Kai-Chen Chang pushed sixth seed Aleksandra Wozniak all the way but eventually went out to the Canadian 7-5 7-6 (7/2).

Jill Craybas is also through, recovering from an opening set loss to beat France's Mathilde Johnasson 2-6 6-2 6-0.
