Indian tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi will rejoin forces with Max Mirnyi, with whom he won the US Open in 2002, next season.

Incidentally, ever since winning the US Open with the Belarussian , Bhupathi has not won a men's doubles Grand Slam title.

Bhupathi had a very successful partnership with Mirnyi in the past. They had reached the Wimbledon final in 2003.

Bhupathi ended his partnership with Mark Knowles of Bahamas after a semifinal defeat in the ATP World Tour Finals at the hands of Bryan Brothers -- Mike and Bob.

Bhupathi and Knowles made two Grand Slam finals -- Australian Open and US Open -- this season.

Knowles will combine with America's Mardy Fish in the next season.
