Fish sets up Djokovic showdown

Mardy Fish came back from losing the opening set to advance in the BNP Paribas Open where he will meet Novak Djokovic.

Fish, a former finalist here, struggled early but rebounded to beat Michael Berrer of Germany 1-6 6-1 6-3.

He will now face the man who beat him in the 2008 final of this tournament.

Wild-card Carlos Moya was also among those who advanced, but he made hard work of beating American qualifier Tim Smyczek 7-6 (9-7) 7-6 (7-5).

Mario Ancic of Croatia came back to beat American Bobby Reynolds 4-6 6-3 6-4.

Also progressing were Pablo Cuevas, Florent Serra, Ramon Delgado, Kevin Anderson, Jeremy Chardy, Rainer Schuettler, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, Fabio Fognini, Daniel Koellerer, Brian Dabul, Ryan Harrison, Philipp Petzschner and Ernests Gulbis.
