Wozniacki blitzes into last 32
Top seed Caroline Wozniacki wasted no time in reaching the last 32 of the US Open with a 6-0 6-0 victory against Chang Kai-chen.
The Dane took just 47 minutes to beat her Chinese Taipei opponent.
Wozniacki, who lost to Kim Clijsters in last year's final, has dropped just two games in her first two matches.
However, Wozniacki refused to get too far ahead of herself with a potential clash with Maria Sharapova awaiting her in the fourth round.
She said: "I never look at the draw. You never know what's going to happen in tennis, so I don't say 'I'm going to play this girl in the quarter-final'. You need to fight for every match."
Wozniacki is fully recovered from the ankle injury which forced her to pull out of her semi-final in Charleston in April.
And she denied feeling weary after a heavy build-up to the tournament which resulted in back-to-back-titles at Montreal and New Haven.
She said: "I'm feeling great. I feel fresh and feel like it's a new tournament. I'm all recovered from everything, and I'm just happy to be playing and to be injury free - everything is perfect."
