Somdev up against Bhupathi

India's Somdev Devvarman will be making his Grand Slam debut against compatriot Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Mark Knowles.

Somdev and his South African partner Kevin Anderson, who qualified for the Wimbledon men's doubles main draw, have been drawn against the fourth seeded Indo-Bahamian duo.

The draw ensures that at least one Indian will be out of contention right after the first round.

Qualifiers Prakash Amritraj and his Pakistan partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will open their campaign against 16th seeds Stephen Huss of Australia and Briton Ross Hutchins.

In the ladies' singles, Sania Mirza, who made an impressive start to the grasscourt season, has been drawn to play against Germany's world number 51 Anna-Lena Groenefeld.

In the ladies' doubles, Sania and her Taipei partner Chia-Jung Chuang, seeded 15th, will take on American unseeded pair of Jill Craybas and Carly Gullickson.
