The Denver Nuggets on Friday signed 14-year veteran forward Juwan Howard to their training camp roster.

A 14-year veteran, Howard did nothing more than take up space on the bench of the Dallas Mavericks last season as he averaged a career-low 1.1 points in 50 games.

Howard, 35, is joining the Nuggets for the second time in his career, also having played for the franchise from 2002-03. He averaged 18.3 points and 7.7 rebounds during that stint.

In 1,001 career regular-season games, Howard has averaged 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds.
