The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed center David Harrison to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract.

A 7-footer from Colorado, Harrison was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2004 draft.

He appeared in 189 games in four seasons with the Pacers, averaging 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the field in each campaign.

The Timberwolves are entering their second rebuilding season after dealing franchise centerpiece Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics after the 2006-07 campaign.
