Cavaliers Jackson injures wrist

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Darnell Jackson has suffered fracture of his left wrist and will out for five to six weeks.

It is unclear when Jackson suffered the injury, but the rookie forward did not play in the exhibition contest against the 76ers.

A member of the national champion Kansas Jayhawks and a second-round pick of the Miami Heat last June, the 6-8 Jackson had played in Cleveland's first four preseason contests before alerting the team of the wrist injury.

The 23-year-old Jackson averaged 11.2 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Jayhawks last season.
