The LA Lakers have re-assigned Sun Yue to the team’s NBA Development League affiliate LA D-Fenders.

Sun is the 35th assignment of the 2008-09 season.

Sun, a 6-9 guard from China, was first assigned to the D-Fenders on March 6, before being recalled to the Lakers on March 16. In four games with the D-Fenders Sun averaged 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.25 in 36.0 minutes.

Making his NBA debut on Dec. 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Sun has appeared in 10 games with the Lakers this season, totaling six points and two assists in 28 minutes.
