Lakers veteran point guard Derek Fisher thinks Phil Jackson will return for another championship ride in 2009-10.

Fisher was quizzed by Tony Kornheiser on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption, if he thought that Jackson would try for another title after winning his tenth NBA championship.

"I do," said Fisher. "I have a natural gut instinct that he will be back. I think he likes our group of guys. I think he likes this team. I think he also believes and trusts in the leadership abilities of Kobe and myself to really help manage this team day-to-day throughout the season, so that he doesn't have to carry such a heavy burden to get us through the season."

Fisher went on to say, "I know it would be fitting to walk away at this point and end things on top, but that doesn't coincide with who Phil Jackson is. I don't think he's going to run away from this opportunity. I think he'll be back."
