Allen Iverson's NBA return with Philadelphia ended in defeat as Chauncey Billups led Denver Nuggets to a 93-83 win.

Billups scored 31 points as his side sank the 76ers with a 22-3 run at the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth proving decisive.

The defeat was Philadelphia's 10th in succession, while Denver extended their winning run to four.

Larry Hughes' 21 points and David Lee's 17-point, 10-rebound double-double helped New York Knicks to a 93-84 win over Portland Trail Blazers.

Brandon Roy's 27 points proved in vain for Portland as the Knicks recorded a fourth win in five games.

Kevin Durant's 28 points - 22 in the second half - and 26 from James Harden led Oklahoma City Thunder to a 104-88 win over Golden State Warriors, for whom Monta Ellis scored 31.

Utah Jazz edged out San Antonio Spurs 104-101 in Salt Lake City, Carlos Boozer leading the way with 27 points. The Spurs' Matt Bonner scored a career-high 28 in a losing cause.
