Allen Iverson's NBA return with Philadelphia ended in defeat as Chauncey Billups led Denver Nuggets to a 93-83 win.
Billups scored 31 points as his side sank the 76ers with a 22-3 run at the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth proving decisive.
The defeat was Philadelphia's 10th in succession, while Denver extended their winning run to four.
