Cavs secure seventh straight win

LeBron James managed just 14 points but the Cleveland Cavaliers still eased to a seventh straight win over the Atlanta Hawks.

James made just six of 20 shots from the floor and two of three free throws as the Cavaliers ran out 95-84 winners.

A total of six Cavaliers players reached double figures with Mo Williams top scoring with 20 for the visitors.

Kevin Durant was again the star for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they beat the Washington Wizards 110-98 for a fourth straight win.

Durant, who scored 40 points in Monday's win at New Jersey, recorded 35 tonight with 11 rebounds as the Thunder claimed a ninth road win of the season.

Away wins were popular in the night's early games with 30 points from David Lee helping the New York Knicks to a 104-87 win at the Detroit Pistons.

The Chicago Bulls ended the run of success for away teams with a 104-95 success over the visiting Indiana Pacers.

The Bulls led by 19 points after the first quarter and, despite almost letting that cushion slip in the second, held on for the win with Derrick Rose scoring 28 points.

David West scored almost half of the New Orleans Hornets' 100 points, but still ended up on the losing side.

West poured in 44 points but the Hornets went down 108-100 to the Houston Rockets.

Elsewhere, the San Antonio Spurs enjoyed a comfortable 117-99 win at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

And the LA Lakers overcame a half-time deficit to beat the Golden State Warriors 124-118, with Kobe Bryant scoring 44 points.
