Gibson return has Cavs in rude health

Cleveland Cavaliers recorded a 10th straight NBA victory against Miami Heat.

Daniel Gibson returned from a trip to hospital to play a key role for the Cavs.

Gibson did not appear until the second half after his pregnant fiancee was taken to hospital as a precaution, but scored 12 points in his cameo appearance to help his side to a 102-86 win.

LeBron James, though, led the scorers with 36 as Miami failed to build on Dwyane Wade's 24 and 21 from Michael Beasley.

A stunning 30-19 final quarter saw Portland Trail Blazers scrape to a 96-93 win over San Antonio Stars in the night's other game. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points, while Martell Webster (21) contributed 10 of the Blazers' final 13 points as they turned the game on its head.
